Thundergrid at successful Fleetpartners Event in Wellington

Over 50 interested visitors attended the successful FleetPartners NZ Event in Wellington on Thursday night. Besides the latest models of electric vehicles (EVs), Thundergrid | A Landis+Gyr Company and other exhibitors showcased the latest smart charging solutions. We saw a particular interest in our dynamic load management and clustering of chargers as well as in our end-to-end solution offerings and expertise with fleet management.

Our CEO Jonathan Parker was once more on the panel talking about the safety of EV installations and explained the dynamic load management process. “It’s important that all the chargers are able to communicate with each other and therefore are able to share the power. They look at the energy use on sight, how much power is needed for the building with lights, lifts, or heat pumps in operation, and what is potentially left for charging. We program the chargers, so they don’t overwhelm the supply and need to make sure they don’t interfere with anything else operational on site.”
With lots of networking opportunities and sharing knowledge with interested visitors it was a very successful event for visitors and exhibitors alike.
A big thanks to FleetPartners NZ for organising and inviting us along!
