The INCH Core is a sturdy and smart European EV home charger featuring all the technology you need for secure smart charging when you look for a lasting product in your house or apartment. It comes as a socket version (cable attached permanently) as well as tethered (cable not removable) depending on your needs.

For easy installation by your certified electrician, we have bundled this smart EV charger up with the suitable load guard. The Carlo Gavazzi will enable dynamic load management and protect your house from overload.

INCH Core

  • Power up to 7 kW charging capacity (single-phase) or 22 kW (three-phase) allowing you to quickly charge your EV from three up to nine times faster than a three-pin plug
  • Advanced load balancing. Charging an EV can put a strain on your home or building’s power and fuse board. The Inch Core’s load balancing functionality with separate metering devices means you can be sure that your home or building’s power source is not compromised
  • Several connectivity options. With connectivity over Bluetooth and WiFi, this charger can be seamlessly integrated into your premises without a complicated installation process
  • A variety of access options
    • Free access enabling users to simply plug in and charge (suitable for home chargers or free public charging)
    • Requires a RFID tag to unlock the charger (suitable for locations where you want to guard access)
  • LED status indicators Dynamic LED lights showing charging status, authentication, and more
  • Monitor user and charge session data Monitor charge session data reports. If you need a charger for staff homes, apartment body corporates and more, we can set up a billing system to track time or energy consumed
  • Durable outdoor rated enclosure. A sturdy enclosure with an IK10 rating, the Inch Core comes with the highest rated level of resistance to impact. Combined with an IP56 rating for water, dust, and debris, this charger is suitable for indoor or outdoor use

 

Carlo Gavazzi

  • Enables dynamic load management. The Carlo Gavazzi energy analyzer used in conjunction with the INCH Core provides detection of the available electrical supply and automatic adjustment of charging power, preventing any overloading scenarios from charging operations
  • Single phase applications. Available in single phase model, making it suitable for residential or commercial charger installations
  • Serial communications to charger. RS485 Modbus communications from the energy analyzer to the INCH Core means there is only a small cable required for easier, faster installations
  • Small component for space saving. With dimensions of only 18 x 92 mm (width x height), the Carlo Gavazzi energy analyzer will not require much space in residential distribution boards or commercial switchboards
