“At Thundergrid, we prioritise our customers and aim to make the transition to EV charging as seamless as possible for everyone across Australia and New Zealand,” says Jonathan Zukerman, COO of Thundergrid. “Our new website is designed to be more customer-centric, offering clear and accessible explanations of technical details.” As specialists in EV charging, Thundergrid is committed to empower smart charging solutions in both countries for a range of different customers.
Catering to diverse needs
The decision to tailor the website for different customer groups was made early in the redesign process. These groups have distinct needs, and Thundergrid wanted to ensure each group’s specific questions are addressed on dedicated pages.
For example, fleet managers can learn about the online dashboard of the fleet portal post-installation, giving them the tools to efficiently manage their fleet.
Strata and body corporate groups often need detailed records of charge sessions per apartment user and help with individual invoicing and reimbursement for the shared power source.
Commercial properties, like large airports, need to manage power availability to prevent overloading on-site infrastructure while enabling smart charging for customers and businesses.
Homeowners, on the other hand, are more concerned about cost-effective fast charging at off-peak rates, all while ensuring their homes stay safe from potential overloads or fires.
Customized solutions for every EV user
Thundergrid is passionate about sharing its expertise and working closely with customers to tailor solutions for their unique needs. Each project is approached individually, with no one-size-fits-all solution. By understanding the specific challenges and goals of each client, Thundergrid can provide the right charging solutions to ensure a smooth transition to EVs while delivering a great charging experience.
A shared mission: Lighten the load on the grid
At the core of Thundergrid’s mission is the goal of reducing the strain on the grid. Whether it’s a fleet, commercial property, or homeowner, the mission remains the same: to ensure that as more EVs are plugged in, the grid is not overloaded, and costly infrastructure upgrades aren’t necessary. By using available energy more efficiently with Thundergrid’s smart technology, we can drive a cleaner, more sustainable transport future—without additional costs for consumers.
Thundergrid want to thank the whole team that put a lot of thought and passion into the new website and has made this project a reality.
Particular thanks to Lara Phillips, Girish Parbhu, Jayshree Parbhu and Jack Marsh for their dedication and patience!
